Yoshi's Woolly World supports 2-player co-op, and it's the perfect game to play with a friend. Even if your friends are totally unskilled (or little ones), YWW has you covered. The game's Mellow Mode let's Yoshi fly, so everyone can enjoy exploring his woolly world - no skill required.
After a very disappointing launch in Yoshi’s New Island on 3DS, Nintendo is quickly trying to win Yoshi’s Island fans back with Yoshi’s Woolly World on the Wii U. Woolly World is essentially Yoshi’s Island, but the fact that everything is made out of yarn opens up the franchise to new, and welcomed, game play mechanics.
Since Yoshi will be made out of yarn, there are a number of different things he can now do. During the short video, the developers showed off Yoshi partially unraveling to complete small, yet innovative, puzzles. New innovation in the last Yoshi’s Island game fell flat, but it appears as if Nintendo is much more inclined to use their new ideas to their fullest potential. You’ll be able to “fly,” unravel the environment and find hidden secrets behind walls of wonderfully textured wool.
Woolly Yarn looks absolutely stunning. The care that the developers put into this game is very evident. They even created their own yarn Yoshi prototypes!
One final bonus: 2 player mode! Now tackle these fun, time limit free levels with a friend, using the relaxed atmosphere to find all of the hidden secrets buried within!
Wooly World will be available at some point in 2015.
