Yoshi Woolly World 2-8 Boss
Aug 03, 2015 Love this amiibo, very cute, girlfriend loves it. We actually still do not have a Wii U (which is what this amiibo was originally made for) but we ended up getting the Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World for both of our 3DS consoles, and it works with this game = Allows you to play with Double Yoshi and have another Yarn Yoshi helping alongside the main Yoshi you control in the game.
Yoshi is back and this time the atmosphere is more creative than ever before. The Yoshi's are having a blast playing in the yarn when a Koopa Wizard comes and turns all but one Yoshi into yarn bundles. It's up to you - the last Yoshi left to chase down the Koopa Wizard, save the craft world, and reunite the Yoshi.
Yoshi's Woolly World is a 2D side scrolling platformer where you will use Yoshi's double jump, ground pound, tongue attack and yarn throwing skills to make your way through several craft worlds. The ascetics are top notch in Woolly World. Every terrain has been re-imagined into craft supplies and yarn. Yoshi will spring between 'worlds' which are really just craft projects lying around a room. The music is mostly acoustic and whimsical which matches the rest of the theme nicely.
The gameplay is also simple and whimsical. Most players will not have any difficulty speeding through the levels without ever dying. Even the bosses can be beaten easily on your first try. If you ever do have trouble there are power-ups and an easy mode where Yoshi can fly. The power-ups are mostly to powerful to use without feeling guilty. They range from giving you more powerful yarn balls to winning a level by selecting the power-up. The real challenge in Yoshi comes when you try and collect all the yarn and daisies to 100% the game. Many of these collectables add additional platforming challenges for those of us that find the game too easy. However, some of these collectables are invisible - only revealing themselves if you accidentally hit them with a yarn ball. In addition, none of the power-ups that you can purchase help with this. Yoshi's Woolly World 2-8 Flowers
Hot Dogs are canine enemies covered in flames that appear in Yoshi's Woolly World. When Yoshi approaches them, they start attacking by shooting Fireballs, although Yoshi can grab these with his tongue and turn them into Yarn Balls. Hot Dogs can be defeated by throwing a Yarn Ball at them and then jumping on them. In World 2-8 (Bunson the Hot Dog's Castle), Kamek transforms a Hot Dog into the boss of the level, Bunson the Hot Dog. Hot Dogs only appear in two courses, which are Bunson the Hot Dog's Castle, and Wonderful World of Wool. Names in other languages[edit]
